The most beautiful day! I was stunned at how gorgeous this venue was—I knew I wanted to paint the pine trees and fountain. As their ceremony progressed the sun made it’s way down and created the most gorgeous lighting. The sky turned pink and blue and I was just getting done with a rough outline of their kiss <3

It’s all about the details!

Once I painted in the base colors, it’s time to start on the details. I wanted to make sure their features were captured accurately. During this time, cocktail hour began and I was offered an hors d'oeuvre that was absolutely delicious. It took me a while to figure out how to spell that word haha! I remember one of the wedding guest kept coming up to me wanting me to paint a surfer int he background on the lake, which made me laugh. I told him I had painted him in he was just covered by one of the trees ;)

As the sun goes down…

One of the best feelings is getting to paint outside as the sun goes down. I absolutely love the feeling. The weather gets cooler as the sun goes down but that also means the bugs come out! After going to many outdoor weddings especially in Florida, I know to bring bug spray because for some reason the bugs love me.
